During your visit to the Kennebunkport area may we suggest that you drop by the Mainely Quilts and Gift Shop located in the carriage house next to The Waldo Emerson Inn bed and Breakfast. You'll likely find the latest local creations. Heirloom quality quilts and wall hangings, often taking hundreds of hours to create, grace homes all over the world.

The Waldo Emerson Inn in Kennebunk, Maine is a wonderful place for a Quilters Retreat. Enjoy a weekend of honing your quilting skills in this historic town and Inn.

The goal of your innkeepers and operators of Mainely Quilts, John and Kathy Daamen, is to give you a restful time nestled within their hospitality.

The goal of your instructors, Judy Smith-Valley, Kathy Lee and Dusty Pazar is to teach methods useful to the beginner through intermediate Quilters and give confidence and inspiration.

We will provide a materials list after registration. Plan to bring your own machine. (We do have a few to borrow, if you need to.)

To the experienced quilters - bring those unfinished projects and together let's get them done. A great way to take over the Inn with your quilting friends at a terrific savings
